Mohammad Al Omar is a visual artist and photographer based in Amman, Jordan. His practice moves between painting and photography, with attention to faces, the city, and everyday memory. Since 2020, he has continued developing a visual archive between painting and photography, focused on faces, the city, and everyday memory. He holds a BSc in Software Engineering from Philadelphia University; that technical background remains part of the biography, not the front of the artistic identity. أعمل على بناء صور هادئة ومكثفة، تتأمل الجسد، المكان، والذاكرة من خلال الرسم والتصوير. أتعامل مع التصوير كأرشيف بصري للمكان والضوء، من التفاصيل المعمارية إلى الحضور الإنساني العابر في المدينة. في الرسم، أنحاز إلى الوجه والحالة والضوء أكثر من السرد المباشر؛ ما يهمني هو الأثر الداخلي لا الحدث الظاهر.

I work on quiet, concentrated images that reflect on the body, place, and memory through painting and photography. I treat photography as a visual archive of place and light, from architectural details to transient human presence in the city. In painting, I am drawn to the face, inner state, and light more than overt storytelling; the emotional residue matters more than the event.
